Day 1 :Samburu Game Reserve

Depart from Nairobi and head northwards through the rolling green hills of central Kenya past the snow capped Mt.Kenya to eventually arrive in Samburu game reserve which is semi-arid.

Cold freshly squeezed juice and hot mouth watering lunch will be ready for you upon arrival.

Samburu, Buffalo springs and Shaba game reserves are one ecosystem covering some 440square kilometers with the brownish red waters of the Ewaso Nyiro River snaking through the land. The river provides a life- line to the otherwise dry country sustaining a huge population of big game mammals and a great diversity of bird-life.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of lions, cheetah, elusive leopard and other wildlife.

Day 2: Traverse the Samburu Reserve

Early morning game drive before breakfast highly is recommended for more activity by wildlife during the cool hours of the morning.

Return to lodge for breakfast.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Day 3:  Ol Pejeta

Arrive at the hotel for lunch.

Enjoy afternoon game-drives at the Olpejeta conservancy including a visit to the Chimpanzee sanctuary which was established by Dr Jane Goodall to rescue orphaned animals from war-torn Burundi in the 90’s.

Olpejeta was also home to ‘SUDAN’ who was the last male individual of the northern white rhino and unfortunately died in 2018 at the age of 45years.
