The Park is located 7 Km from the City Center and a stone’s throw from the Airport. A complete game drive of the 172 KM2 park will take you 3 to 4 Hours.
The Nairobi National Park is an open Savannah grassland characterized by long grass and muddy earth road. The best way to get around the park, we recommend using our 7X Land Cruiser that has an open hatch as well as an awning which is great for an impromptu picnic!
Apart from the Elephant, all the Big 5 can be seen at the Park, including an abundance population of Giraffe, Zebra, Ostrich and other wild animals.

NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK DAY TRIP
We do recommend an Early Morning Game drive for the best Experience of the Park. The animals tend to be more lively when it’s cool and you have a better chance of seeing the famous cats at this time, if you are lucky you’ll catch them in action.
06:30 Hrs: Breakfast at the Hotel. We recommend you have a light Breakfast as the drive in the park is a bit bumpy. You could carry snacks and juice just in case.
07:00 Hrs: We shall collect you from the Hotel Lobby with our Specialized Safari Land Cruiser, and depart for the Park.
07:30 Hrs: Arrive at the Nairobi National Park for an epic Safari with our Professional Driver Guide.
The tour of the park may take 3-4 Hrs depending on stop overs at every sighting.
11:30 Hrs: Depart the Nairobi National Park for the hotel.

DAY TRIP TO THE DAPHNE SHELDRICKS ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE AND GIRAFFE CENTER
09:00 Hrs: Depart the Hotel after breakfast for the Giraffe Center. The Center is open from 0900 Hrs in the morning until 1700 Hrs. We do recommend to be there at 0945 Hrs when there are less visitors so that you have a more personalized visit.
09:45 Hrs: Arrive at the Giraffe Center for an Educational Tour and Giraffe feeding session. If you are daring enough, you could get a kiss from the Gentle Giant, all it takes is courage.
10:30 Hrs: Depart the Giraffe Center for the Elephant Orphanage
10:45 Hrs: Arrive at the Elephant Orphanage. The Orphanage opens from 11:00 Hrs to 12:00 noon. It is important to get there early so that you don’t miss the arrival of the baby Elephants in the mud arena.
12:00 Noon: Depart the Elephant Orphanage for lunch at a Restaurant of your choice.
Did you know Elephants are very sensitive and caring? If a baby Elephant complains, the entire family will go over to soothe it. At the Elephant Orphanage, the Baby Elephants are assigned to one minder, who stays with it until maturity, the minder even shares a banker with the baby and never leaves the baby's side.
Did you know elephants eat each others fresh dung? Most think it is odd but it is to get the necessary bacteria into their stomachs which aids digestion …….
